Teaching focus on World History, US History survey courses, the Progressive Era transnationally, the History of childhood, and the History of racism.

Recent completion of $3 million capital campaign to renovate, winterize, and expand the 125-year-old heritage YMCA Camp; winterization and upgrade of major accommodations/program facilities, expansion of lakefront forest from 30 to 180 acres, the creation of a large scholarship endowment, property fund, and receipt of $1 million guaranteed future bequest.Program redesign to empower inclusivity, diversity, and globalization. High level of collaboration with other not-for-profit organizations serving children with diverse abilities, adults with diverse abilities, veterans' group, special medical providers, schools, and other groups. The Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

PhD recipient engaged in research on the history of Jamestown, New York between 1893 and 1938, focused on political progressivism, municipal ownership, and social reform movements in a mid-sized industrial city.
