With over 6 years of experience in the field of photonics, I am passionate about developing innovative solutions for laser and optical applications. My core competencies include optical fabrication, coating measurement, assembly process, and SOP creation. As a Research and Development Technician at Coherent, I collaborate with engineers and scientists to support the design, testing, and improvement of various laser products and components.In my current role, I use my skills in physics to measure the absorption of coatings and crystals, inspect incoming materials, create and update SOPs, and assemble different laser gain assemblies in an ISO Class 6 cleanroom. I also maintain the work stations and assist other departments when necessary. I am proud to be part of a team that delivers high-quality and reliable laser solutions for a wide range of industries and applications.
