My responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:1) Creating industry awareness by reaching out to University undergraduates by means of Career Fairs/Talks/Networking events to intrigue them to join the industry through experiencing the GIA Internship Programme (GIP). The GIP serves to expose the undergraduates to a myriad of experiences and to change their perception of the General Insurance industry.Process includes Marketing of programme, Interview and allocation/placement of interns with the respective host companies. Liaison with relevant parties for event venues, guest speakers, and logistics matters.2) Liaison with relevant associations / partner with Stakeholders for collaborations and initiatives to educate the new entrants of the GI industry.3) Ensure all communications are accurate and in line with the organisation’s corporate image.4) Anticipate and manage strategy for mitigating issues or managing unexpected situations when planning for corporate events.5) Planning and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes to give back to the society. 6) Manage and monitor relationships with industry contacts, business relations and vendors.7) Provision of secretarial services for the various GIA Committees.

Corporal1) Appointed as Company Quartermaster Sergeant (CQMS)- Reports to the Quartermaster (QM) and the Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant (RQMS) to ensure company stores are properly accounted for and will bring to notice any that are unserviceable, or that have been the prescribed period in wear.- Assist in annual store checks and auditing by external vendor.- Reports to the Officer Commanding (OC) and the Company Sergeant Major (CSM) on logistics needed for Company training exercise and ensuring required stores and logistics matters are arranged and accounted for before/after training. - Responsible to the Officer Commanding (OC) of the Company for the accurate preparation of all Company returns, requisitions, and documents are rendered punctually at the time appointed. Lists of all public, Battalion and Company property in possession of the Company, showing distribution and date of each article will be kept in order.
