Manufacturing Engineering shop floor support for Center Fuselage LWR Structural Mate of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).- Lead Manufacturing Engineer and technical focal for OML Control, Tooling, Structures, Dry Fits of skins & panels, Automated Drilling System (ADS), and Seam Validation.- Developed and delivered complex Liquid-Shim Calculators using Excel VBA macro scripts to optimize Main Landing Gear Door surface profile for all 3 variants of JSF, resulting in cost savings of 15 hours per jet.- Directed technical tooling redesign efforts to optimize tool functionality for Main Landing Gear Assembly Fixtures, Drill Support Tooling Accessories, and Drill Fixtures.- Expanded build tolerances and eliminated unnecessary tolerance margin between cost-centers to optimize production efficiency and performance while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Helicopter Engine Simulation using Numerical Propulsion System Simulation (NPSS) and MATLAB Simulink

Smart Morphing Wing (SMW) is a senior design project available to select Mechanical Engineering students at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Led by Dr. Peter Bishay, the project goal is to design, build, and flight test fully morphing, fixed-wing UAVs with no conventional flight surfaces. The 5th cohort designed and manufactured a 9-ft wingspan, camber-morphing UAV. This research and development was presented at the 2021 AIAA region VI conference, and placed 2nd behind Cal-Tech, resulting in a published research article in Aerospace Journal.

- Modeling and simulation of Rolls-Royce M250 helicopter engine using Numerical Propulsion System Simulation (NPSS). Integration of NPSS engine model into Simulink to enable compatible simulation with NDARC aero models and flight control models for NASA's Revolutionary Vertical Lift Technology (RVLT) project.- NPSS simulation of Pratt & Whitney PW-127E advanced turboprop engine for NASA's PEGASUS project. Integration of PW-127E model into Simulink using NPSS S-Function.- Design and Fabrication of several Al-7075 parts for an EMRAX 228 dynamometer assembly using SolidWorks CAD. Created a SolidWorks animation of the dynamometer in action.

Modeling and simulation of Capstone C65 microturbine engine using Numerical Propulsion System Simulation (NPSS) and Matlab-Simulink for NASA's Hybrid Electric Integrated Systems Test-Bed (HEIST) project.Participated in several subsonic/supersonic flight tests of an ADS-B equipped F-18 Hornet.
