CurrentSystem Administration and Management Analytics:I update and develop the eGrants Oracle grant system and analyze the system using SQL and excel to determine changes and updates that should be made. In the system I configure flow of grants, make changes in the system.Disaster Cadre • Deployed to support AmeriCorps and NCCC in their recovery and mitigation response to Texas flood. Organized, informed, and directed volunteers, and reported daily on disaster response.• Presented ‘Prepareathon’ Webinar: Prepared and presented webinar for CNCS Disaster Cadre and Department of Education to promote the ‘Preparathon’ and CNCS Disaster capabilities to State Commissions and Educators. Prepared Webinar for presentation using CNCS information and standard design, highlighting areas where lives would be improved.• Resilience Academy Facilitator/Subject Matter Expert: Performed as facilitator and subject matter expert in the second Resilience Academy for new VISTAs. Advised on building resilience, sustainabity, and connections in their communities. Suggested ways of making alliances, measuring success, and possible pitfalls. Made plans for interactions, timetables, issues to overcome and practiced playing out interactions. • Secretary for Health National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) meetings: Represented CNCS, took notes, made sure meeting were held and attended. Prepared and presented documentation of CNCS capabilities and represent the interest of CNCS to outside parties. Keep records and notes during meetings.
