  I am responsible for managing logistics of daily routines and provide psycho-social supports to residents with diagnosed and persistent mental illnesses. The goal is to support residents with rehabilitation back to the community. Residents often are discharged from psychiatric care in hospital and are facing the challenge of reentering society with a mental illness. My job is to ease residents into their communities with supports through activities of daily living, life skill development, social recreation and transition planning. My work also includes management of the house and property which includes maintenance, development and resource management. My role is to liaise with mental health case managers to carry out supportive care plans which promote each residents growth and continued health. This roll includes schedule management, support with mental health and general health appointments, resident advocacy, monitoring progress, problem solving and Navigation of social services.
