As Head of Platform for Resume Scripter I am responsible for all aspects of the RSWorks portal. RSWorks gathers specific knowledge for approximately 50 industries into a survey tool for job counselors supporting entry-level job seekers. The results of the survey are then formatted into a word document created from several different templates

TripleWin is a sustainability consultancy driving business circularity. They help build stakeholder-centric, value-creating, sustainable and resilient companies.As technical director I am responsible for all aspects of TWA's multiple web initiatives. Most recently we have been developing an 11 week entry-level course covering personal sustainability. The course is intended for corporate employees and university settings.

Day Zero Water is an engineering group developing a water sterilization device for use in environments that have poor or no access to potable water. The water box uses ultraviolet light to make water safe to drink on a family scale.This project has significant implications for limiting green house gas emissions. Approximately 500 million people worldwide sterilize water for drinking by boiling over charcoal and wood fires. The smoke from these fires represent a very significant source of carbon and serious vector for respiratory illnesses. The hope is that the Day Zero water box can help eliminate these fires.

THRIVE is a full-service design agency that works with environmentally-conscious corporations. We apply our expertise in identity work, print, packaging and web development to projects that can create a better world.As the technical director I am responsible for managing client projects from sales through maintenance. We develop using a variety of internet technologies according to the needs of the client.As part of THRIVE I have successfully initiated, scoped and coded web development and branding projects for clients on the regional, national and international level. We have consistently delivered solid ROI for repeat customers over a 15 year period. Our software projects included, WineAmerica, Freightliner and Riunite.

GROW Creative was a full-service design agency that served the Oregon wine industry for the best part of a decade. We branded. We identified. We designed labels, labels and more labels. Then there were the websites and the national ad campaigns. It was fun.GROW is gone now and has been replaced with THRIVE (see above).

Ash Design, LLC was a Portland-based design agency that, frankly, could have used a business consultant. Over five years it oscillated among SCORM compliant online training for Very Large Companies to the fascinating field of litigation graphics to brand identity for professional service companies.Exhausted in the end by all the competing voices in their heads the principals killed Ash Design in 2008 and resurrected the company as GROW (see above). Much better.

As the DBA for Western Reliance I was responsible for herding 3 large data repositories (each with their own custom interface) and hundreds of client data imports toward a single common standard while continuing to extend the functionality of the existing schema.Careful version control, clear requirements and relentless coordination with all parts of the company made a challenging job very enjoyable.

My work with nine dots was in the context of a mid-size interactive agency with a blue-chip client base. I excelled on the Visa International and Visa Online accounts developing customer-based marketing websites and secure partner-based extranets. In addition I was the Technical Lead for Nike Canada's data-driven online marketing efforts.
