Prior to working within building services I worked within the telecommunications industry managing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) of cable tv/internet companies in the North West and Midlands. I also lived and worked in Germany designing cable networks.Returning to my Mechanical Engineering roots, I've worked as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer on new build and existing refurbishment projects in the Education, Residential and Commercial Sectors.Following the success as a founding member of CIBSE YEN East Anglia and inaugural chair of the groups committed I was elected to be the first CIBSE YEN international Council representative, responsible for liaising between the YEN Centres across the globe and CIBSE Head Office, representing YEN at CIBSE Council and Careers Panels.I have sat on the CIBSE East Anglia Region committee for the past 10 years and had the honor of being chair of the region for two years.
