At the Massachusetts DOER I am responsible for the legislation and promotion of renewable thermal technologies.

At Northern I lead a group using GIS to document and manage the resolution of both municipal and scholastic projects. This work although primarily in the Commonwealth, extends to most New England states.

My position within the College has allowed me to create a campus GIS involving a unique and thorough urban forest layer. This tool has allowed for the quantification and thus monetization of the ecological services rendered by the campus trees. Other duties include mentoring students and involvement in the school's Environmental Club. I have also had the privilege of overseeing the reestablishment of a campus arboretum and forest management plan. Another ongoing project includes the potential installation of a 700kw solar array. An effort offsetting roughly half of the College's electrical demand.

At Smith Voc I was responsible for all four secondary grade levels of forestry education. This responsibility included both classroom and field studies.

While at Umass I had the privilege of instructing students in a wide array of natural resources curriculum.
