I have been working with tahdah since before it's launch in 2015 and as we begin to enter the next phase of our growth I have taken on the role of Head of Product. I'm responsible for taking requirements from right across the business including the expectations of our investors, requirements from our customers, and internal requirements and balancing these against the overall aims and goals of the business to ensure that we innovate within our sector and build the best possible product to meet the needs of all of our users and stakeholders.

I joined Tahdah as a contractor last year and now work full time developing across the full stack on their software using C#, MVC, Entity Framework, Linq, SqlServer and AWS (Elastic Beanstalk).Tahdah is a platform for awarding bodies and training providers to manage awards/qualifications and training and provides candidates with a profile containing all of their verified awards (and much more)In my spare time I am developing a number of personal projects in PHP and Node.JS (Meteor) and am working on building a fully working BB-8 robot with my children using dual Raspberry PIs. When and if there is time I enjoy writing music, but generally end up substituting that for sleep!

Worked as a freelance web developer on projects for my own clients as well as for several other web development and marketing companies.Projects ranged from small websites to a large database system for a well known London based Half Marathon.Ceased self-employed status in 2009 to start building up my own business.

I worked as a Visual Basic 6 / ASP / MS SQL developer in a small team providing reporting tools to the software distribution team for Inland Revenue, Employment Services and Department for Work and Pensions of the UK government.Worked extensively on database performance as we were dealing with several large databases, collating millions of records each every day.Left to go freelance in 2003 having already been working on side-projects for myself and others in my spare time.

Software developer in Visual Basic 6, C, C++ and various other languages (including REXX on OS2/Warp and Paradox for DOS!!) at a steel tube manufacturer.I was responsible for software collecting real-time data from machinery on the shop floor, storing in a database and transferring to an AS/400, and also transferring orders from the AS/400 to the shop floor for machine setup.I also developed software in the early days of ASP (on Internet Explorer 3/4) for use in the offices.This was my first decent job after leaving university and very much enjoyed working in a real-time environment. I only left because we were all made redundant when the parent company closed us down for strategic reasons.
