Subject matter expert regarding Explosives Safety for Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, TN. Responsible to the Commanding Officer for all explosive, small arms, and ammunition safety for the installation. Provided support and oversight for the installations Security Department, Naval Criminal Investigative Service Detachment, and 16 Joint Tenant Commands. Ensures compliance with Naval directives, as well as, Civilian Law Enforcement Requirements, US Army directives and United States Marine Corps requirements regarding all facets of Explosives Safety. Track and mitigate discrepancies, confirm credentials, inspect facilities including magazines and armories, and provide warnings and citations to violators of policy. Conduct quarterly briefings to all units and provide on-site training for all assigned units. Familiar with all currently employed small arms, crew served weapons, and explosives and ammunition.

Provided direct support and flight coordination for the recovery of deceased Sailors and Marine Corps personnel across multiple Areas of Respolsibility. Recovery missions included MH-60S crew lost in the Pacific Ocean, MV-22 Osprey Bodo, Norway, MV-22 Osprey and FA-18 from El Centro, California. Single point of contact for the coordination and international movement logistics for all Special Assignement Airlift Missions for the return of lost Sailors and Marines across the globe. Member of core 2-person leadership team within the US Navy's Personnel Recovery and Reintegration Program who coordinated with 2-star Naval Personnel Command flag staff. Responsible for the integration across United States Special Operations Command, Naval Special Warfare Command, US Army South, and Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape-East personnel. Provided Phase II movement coordination and on-site receipt and turnover of personnel listed in a missing, captured, or isolated status. Upon turnover of isolated members provided coordinating support for medical care, SERE and Intelligence Debriefings, mental health care, and any other needs of the member to successfully reintegrate them into family life and back to military duty.Served as Contracting Officer's Representative leading a team of 11 contractors and 14 sailors who executed $5.5 million in benefits, $800 thousand in burial flag cases, $150 thousand in material support for 4 OCONUS US Navy Mortuaries, and $100 thousand in Operating Target Funds execution across the Navy Casualty Enterprise.Provided logistical expertise and funds execution for the US Navy's Prisoner of War Missing in Action Program. Coordinated the movement and logistics for the reburial of remains unable to be identified from the World War II loss of the USS Oklahoma.
