CurrentProvide technical expertise and support, resolving issues relating to design, operation, performance of cabin systems to the maintenance, operations, purchasing and marketing departments.Analyze and evaluate cabin system performance and reliability issues, to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutionsResearch, review and participate in development of data including service bulletins, FARs, AD's, and parts alternatives, including certification testingServe as primary point of interface for airline and facilitate daily in service technical meetings with vendors, monitoring and managing implementation of all action items. Author and approve engineering authorizing documents (TRAX) for service bulletin and other aircraft project accomplishment.Evaluate technical attributes of new or modified aircraft, systems, equipment, and material, as well as new interior configurations.Collect and interpret component and system data and suggest appropriate engineering methods for improvementWork with project engineer on BFE equipage and commissioning issues for new aircraft deliveriesWork with reliability analysts to identify opportunities for cabin system reliability improvements, review vendor bulletins and modifications to determine whether applicable procedures would benefit and improve the product.Accomplish quarterly review of Airbus technical manuals, implement airline changes.
