I started school at Colorado State University, in 2012, where I started out as an undeclared major as a member of the Key Explorer community. Key Explorer helped me declare my major into Biological Sciences and found an opportunity where I worked as a Student Intern for a research lab. I worked on data entry, morphology, and genetics for the lab position. After my third year at Colorado State University, I decided to start pursuing a different interest in programming. I switched majors from Biological Sciences to Applied Computing Technologies with a concentration in Computing Technologies. During the switch between majors, I came across another research opportunity working as a Data Entry Specialist where I worked in a lab that was a doing research for the United States Department of Agriculture for about five months in 2014. My next job wasn't until June 2015 where I worked as a crew member for the Durrell Dining Hall on campus and spent 5 months there till I found a better opportunity working at the Lincoln Center. I stayed on at the Lincoln Center for 3 years where I gained skills as a Custodian, Concierge, Kitchen Supervisor, and set up for A/V equipment. My final semester of college, I took on an internship at voestalpine Signaling USA as a Software Developer Intern to gain career experience in the field I was studying for school. Through my internship I gained experience in C# and Golang. My schooling gave me experience in Web Design, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Perl, C, C++, JavaScript, Java, Bash, Virtual Machines, Operating Systems, multithreaded programming, Databases (CRUD, Normalization, Relationship Entities, Design, MariaDB, T-SQL), MVC, Networking, System Administration, React, and various other software skills. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Computing Technology. After working the internship for several months, I was hired on as a full time Software Developer for voestalpine Signaling USA. I have gained working experience in C#, Golang, C, C++, Python, RESTful APIs, Networking, Certificates, Multithreaded programming, Virtual Machines, Agile Methodologies, Atlassian Suite, NoSQL, T-SQL, and IoT. I am interested in developing a career in Full Stack Development or in DevOps.
