A 2023 Philadelphia Business Journal Most Admired CEO, Jonathan Peri, Ph.D., J.D., is Manor College's 9th President. Founded in 1947 by the Byzantine Ukrainian Sisters of Saint Basil the Great, Manor is located in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Manor now offers 30+ Associate's, Bachelor's and Certificate programs. Dr. Peri led Manor's growth in degree level and program number, along with vast campus improvements. Under Dr. Peri's leadership enrollment and advancement offices have achieved consistently. He also moved the college to fiscal strength, as the college is thriving and able to reinvest surplus into student-centered mission objectives. Organizational net assets have more than doubled. Due to Dr. Peri's fiscal stewardship, the college is now the best priced private residential college in Pennsylvania. Because of that, Manor is able to ensure that its students graduate to meaningful jobs while carrying only about half the college debt of the average American graduate.Manor is able assist 95%+ of its students with financial aid and scholarships, making college attainable. In 2021, Manor was named as the top #2 safest college campus in America!As Manor's President, Dr. Peri leads the college's Basilian mission. He's also a community leader. He may be the only person in Pennsylvania to have served on six state boards / committees related to education concurrently; each appointment was through a Pennsylvania Governor, Senator or State Department. Governor Wolf appointed Dr. Peri as Chairman of Pennsylvania's Council of Higher Education. Dr. Peri has a robust history of board director leadership. His service includes elected MSCHE Commissioner and the AICUP Board of Trustees. In 2021 he was appointed director of two corporate advisory boards, including for First State Bank of Texas, where he subsequently was appointed the Lead Advisory Director. The Philadelphia Business Journal (PBJ) acknowledged Dr. Peri with their Most Admired CEO's Award in December 2023. In 2024 Manor College was named as among the 100 Largest Employers in Greater Philadelphia.
