I have over 30 years' project and programme management experience on complex technical and change management projects where communication issues have been critical to their successful delivery. As Project Manager I was responsible for all aspects of delivery including managing customer and sub-contractor relationships, including conflict identification and resolution, managing all project resources including direct costs and project team members (sometimes with over 30 team members) as well as ensuring the quality of deliverables (including reports) meet customer requirements. I was working in the Energy and Climate Change Practice of Ricardo Energy & Environment for over 15 years managing a broad range of projects addressing renewable energy technologies, energy security and climate change issues. These have involved extensive planning and delivering of stakeholder engagement programmes including stakeholder interviews, facilitation of stakeholder workshops, capacity building and policy advice. This provided me with extensive travel for short term missions to, for example: Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan as well as other EC countries. I contributed to all aspects of Business Development for Climate Change opportunities, in particular, for Europe, Central Asia and some Middle East Countries. This ranged from opportunity development and identification, proposal preparation and delivery of projects. I was Team Leader for eight Consultants based at Ricardo’s London and Oxfordshire offices. Additionally, I used my Project Management skills to deliver internal projects including, for example, updating the company’s financial management software.I am now available for independent consultancy on short tasks and currently provides ad hoc support to Ricardo Energy & Environment on proposal preparation and market research.
Listed skills include Climate Change, Energy, Program Management, Project Management, and 10 others.
