Maintains one organization’s 70 facilities in a chain of more than 200 shops on 9 Marine Corps bases on Okinawa. Charged with tasks ranging from building concrete forms and pouring marquees to setting up carnival style events for 200K+ patrons, to building a full scale blueprinted Olympic style gymnastics facility. Maintains gyms, hobby shops, restaurants, hotels, libraries, pools, and other facilities; shop equipment and machinery, a small vehicle fleet and tools for dispatching to maintenance tasks.

Creates lesson plans and leads hands on job training for 20 Royal Saudi Air Force Cadets in AFSC 2A7X1 Aircraft Metals Technology. Teaches/evaluates subordinates/Saudis on fundamentals of machining and welding, 3 level (apprentice) through 7 level (craftsman). Breaks down reading barriers of English printed Technical Orders with thoughtful and thorough representations of function checks and repairs to encourage use of skillset. Leads cadets through fabrication shop and flight line practices/theories and teaches maintenance procedures for F-15 SA aircraft and infrastructure.

7 Level Craftsman Fabrication Supervisor-Oversaw maintenance and repair actions of 15 personnel on 60 F-16 aircraft and equipment. Authored F-16 Main Landing Gear Shock Strut bearing replacement; saved $50K per strut, nullified depot- “non repairable” condition freeing months of backlogged/backordered parts for repair and issue. Publicly noticed and coined by the 20th Maintenance Group Commander, Colonel Bryan Harris. Managed $4M equipment for machining/welding shop and $100K spare tool and pilferable items program and provided accurate inventory reports for greater than 3500 machine tooling. Setup, overhauled and performed preventative maintenance on a variety of machine shop and welding shop equipment/tooling. Restored Shaw AFB monument for commemoration ceremony of fallen pilot: Captain James Steele.

Advanced thousands of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance procedures and facilitated repairs with numerous internal/external agencies to rectify millions of dollars in maintenance/repairs. Jointly worked 18 hours with Habitat for Humanity to frame two new homes for local community members. Assisted by historians; Lead accurate refurbishment of F-111 Aardvark for static display at base entrance. Oversaw/accomplished 29 Time Compliance Technical Orders on aircraft, weapons systems, and specialized locally developed tools and test equipment.

3 Level Apprentice tasked with learning machine shop/welder duty and maintenance on F-15, KC-135, E-3, HH-60 and transitioning aircraft. Awarded AF Achievement Medal for design and manufacture of puller apparatus and removal of seized gears in cryogenics generator providing uninterrupted LOX flow for Kadena AB hospital and flight line. Designed and manufactured F-15 Central Gear Box wrench, easing disassembly, negating dispatch to remove stripped spanner nut, saving $170K per year in replacement/refurbishment of CGB components. Designed and manufactured AIM-120 Wing Fin Tool modification fixture. Cut milling time by more than one hour canceling out tool breaking chatter and saving $150 per modified tool.
