During high school I perused STEM classes as well as being in band for a total of 7 years playing the French Horn. I've taken the initiative to start projects many times; a few examples would be making a 6" English Longbow with 65lb draw, an L-shape study desk, and volunteering to make houses for retired veterans. I've learned to balance my time well by constructing a schedule that keeps my highest priorities in the forefront. I regularly place myself in opportunities to volunteer for many organizations such as IDES, Love Out Loud, and World Mission Builders. I am certified in GMAW and SMAW; apart from welding I am certified in child protection through UT at Arlington's training program.Outside of my education and other responsibilities I participate in non-recreational sports, such as disc golf and football with my peers. I enjoy spending time with loved ones and keeping up with my physical health. In my spare time I also like to practice my fabrication and carpentry skills by keeping myself busy with a multitude of projects.
