As a member of the Best Buy Digital Analytics Implementation team I have been responsible for the development and maintenance of an internally-developed analytics framework. This framework is responsible for capturing relevant data across multiple company domains and relaying that data to multiple vendor endpoints. This work requires a deep understanding of vanilla JavaScript, as well as hands-on knowledge of NodeJS, the NPM package manager, Webpack, BabelJS, and multiple other component packages upon which our framework depends. My most recent area of responsibility within this team has been the implementation and support of third-party vendor tags through the Signal and Ensighten tag manager services. Best Buy leverages a wide array of third-party integrations, and I am the primary development and support contact for the majority of these integrations. I also was the primary developer for our migration from the Signal tag manager to the Ensighten tag manager in January of 2018. I have a comfortable knowledge of both platforms and currently manage several distinct deployment spaces for various domains within Best Buy's digital ecosystem.

• Contributed to the redesign of the company's primary e-commerce site, employing industry best practices to meet business and user experience requirements. Upon completion of this redesign the site experienced sizable gains in revenue.• Contributed to the re-skinning and functional adaptation of an existing Flash web application for reuse on two new client e-commerce projects.• Participated in a joint project with an outside contractor to create a single-page product configuration application targeted at mobile devices. This project was my introduction and training in the use of the Asynchronous Module Definition (AMD) design pattern. After the application’s production deployment I assumed responsibility for development support.• Created a synthetic testing application to help colleagues diagnose a REST service error that threatened to jeopardize a tight release schedule. This testing application proved to be a key source of information about service stability, allowing stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding the details of the release.• Participated in the conversion of an existing Flash application to provide new functional implementations. This application, unlike the earlier re-skins, involved the reuse only of the core application components. The application’s Cairngorm MVC components and service access architecture remained in place, but all visual, navigational, and model components were redesigned to meet new specifications. I was responsible for dynamic page navigation, price estimation, and efficient property abstraction.
