Jonathan Plowman is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience creating innovative solutions while growing businesses across diverse industries. Since joining Questar Inc. as CFO in 2013, Jon has risen to become president and CEO. In this capacity, he has steered Questar through rapid expansion and established key business partnerships across the entertainment industry.Under Jon's guidance, Questar has successfully navigated the industry's transition from physical media to digital delivery by establishing a vast network of digital distribution channels. Today, he works with content acquisition directors from global platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Vizio, FreeVee, Pluto TV, Tubi, Vudu Fandango, and many others.He has also overseen the launch of Questar’s three hit channels: GoTraveler, which has become the top streaming channel within the travel genre, FamilyTime, and Hipstr. All three channels are available to stream through partners like Samsung, Vizio, LG, FireTV, Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV, as well as to download on iOS and Android.Jon also collaborates with film producers and star talent to develop, produce, and acquire content for Questar's distribution network. His executive producer credits span numerous original films and television shows, such as Wake and Bake with Dom Brown, The Miracle Show, The Dark, The Christmas Pitch, and The Dream Motel, with many more projects in active development.He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Chicago State University and a Master of Science degree from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.
