Serious is the leading producer of jazz, international and new music events in the UK. Working with artists and partners from all over the world, our projects ranged from large festivals to intimate club gigs, from international tours to specially commissioned events including the London Jazz Festival. My role was to lead a team of four responsible for the delivery of all Serious’ events, managing a wide variety of concerts and tours across the country throughout the year (approximately 600 shows / year). A key part of my role was to assume the lead production management of the London Jazz Festival.A few artists I was privileged to work with: Herbie Hancock, Paco De Lucia, Keith Jarrett, Alison Krauss, Sixto Rodriguez, Wayne Shorter, Woodkid, Marcus Miller, Esperanza Spalding, Robert Glasper, Hugh Masekela, John Zorn etc.
