To develop and deliver the Active Communities Rugby Programme, an integrated and city wide programme that aims to increase the number of people taking part in the sport of Rugby, with a particular focus on underrepresented groups as identified through the Key Performance Indicators (KPI, s) of the Active Communities Programme with a particular focus on groups such as women, older people and people with a disability. To assist BCSDN in the planning and development of the five year action plan to meet the aims and objectives of the Active Communities Programme. To assist BCSDN to meet the Key Performance Indicators of the Active Communities Programme. To monitor and evaluate the Active Communities programme in accordance with BCSDN guidelines and record relevant information and records in line with Sport NI’s monitoring and evaluation guidelines. To link effectively with existing sport/physical activity provision in the City of Belfast to ensure efficient use of resources and minimum duplication in the delivery of the Active Communities Programme. To promote good working partnerships between all partner agencies involved in the delivery of the Active Communities programme in Belfast. To undertake personal development training as required. Any other duties in pursuit of the overall objectives of the Active Communities Programme as identified by BCSDN.
