It Manager
Current-Manages and supervises the IT Servicedesk team and L1 Engineers for Hamad Port where the team uses IT Service Management tools such as ManageEngine to issue tickets to Engineers and Technicians for IT support requests from Hamad Port and its stakeholders.-Provide quality control and assurance for Servicedesk. Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that SLA conditions are fulfilled-Handling day-to-day Servicedesk and Data Center activities to maintain overall efficiency and productivity. Prepares monthly rosters for the team.-Producing management reports from ManageEngine and Data Center Information Management tools.-Giving input to SLA negotiations and reviews-Representing customer issues within support organization-Planning for capacity changes using Data Center Infrastructure Management software (DCIM)-Ensuring compliance with customer regulations and policies-Implements company ISMS and IT policies to adhere to IT security and quality standards.-Package Lead – Operations Control Rooms. Responsible for the deployment and commissioning of Operations Control Rooms for Hamad Port serving as the operations hub of the terminal operator, hosting multiple systems such as integrated communication systems and terminal operating systems.-Package Lead – Integrated Communications System. Responsible for the successful integration, deployment, and commissioning of ICS that interfaces Hamad Ports PBX and TETRA systems through LAN infrastructure. -Package Lead – Vehicle Monitoring System. Responsible for the successful integration, deployment, and commissioning of VMS systems that track and monitors vehicles inside Hamad Port.-Manages the Internal IT systems, IT security, and IT projects for PMO site offices.-Providing consultancy in all IT related purchases. Reviews and approves departmental budgets and expenses, staff hiring, and conduct interviews for prospective technical staff.
