Graduated from a top-ranking public university with a Bachelor's degree in Geography, a minor in Innovation, certificates in Geospatial Information Analysis and Meteorology and Climatology, and 1 year of professional experience. Completed an internship as a GIS Analyst for the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners, acted as a volunteer moderator for Force Thirteen, a worldwide cyclone tracking meteorology network, creating forecast cones and broadcasting weather information for four years, and accepted a new role as a Geospacial Computer Analyst for Syngenta, a global provider of agricultural science and technology. Gained 2+ years of valuable proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) technology and spatial data collection and analysis using a variety of tools including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ENVI, ESRI, QGIS, RadarScope, Python (GIS), and AgiSoft Metashape and am familiar with geographic data collection and preparing data for presentations. I have managed large data sets, created and edited maps, and maintained databases, and I possess excellent research and analysis skills.My experiences as a GIS Analyst and Storm Tracking and Broadcasting Moderator have helped me grow and develop a strong sense of purpose, commitment, and reliability, and I am excited to begin exploring the field of GIS and continue my education to further advance my knowledge. My interest in geospatial analysis and the applications of GIS and remote sensing technology can be utilized in a variety of industries including meteorology, environmental services, development planning, transportation, urban planning, agriculture, and utilities.
