In this volunteer role, from time to time I support NJ CSIT's cleantech grantmaking programs by reviewing and evaluating grant applications submitted by early-stage NJ cleantech companies.

First NJEDA employee hired to focus on cleantech and clean energy finance. As Senior Advisor and in earlier NJEDA positions, played a critical role in jump-starting NJEDA's engagement in the sector. Key responsibilities included development of NJ financial incentive program for private sector purchase and deployment of EV trucks; design of NJ state C-PACE program; planning for NJ state green bank launch; and design and rollout of grant incentive and other programs to support early-stage NJ cleantech companies and strengthen state's cleantech innovation ecosystem. Also served as main representative of NJEDA in inter-agency initiative to relaunch NJ's participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and in preparation of State of New Jersey's 5-Year Energy Master Plan issued in early 2020.
