Daily responsibilities included: day-to-day trouble shooting, design of modifications and performing equipment inspections during maintenance outages. Lead-engineer for projects and issues involving feedwater heaters and condensers. Specified and involved in the construction of 4 feedwater heaters. Developed inspection and testing plans to determine the root-cause of failures, prevent future failures, and assess remaining life. Served as lead engineer during maintenance outages on the fossil units. Responsible for all engineering resources needed during both the planning and implementation of the outage. Ensured inspections were completed as scheduled, recommendations were communicated to the plant and all emergent items were addressed.
