“To live, a man needs food, water and a sharp mind.” Solving issues and complex problems keeps my mind sharp. Since I was a kid, I enjoyed taking things apart to see how they worked and then trying to put them back together again correctly. That’s why I was drawn to the vending industry. It was a new thing for me to take apart, see how it worked, then put it back together with newer, more modern technology. I enjoy working with and learning new technology. That’s why being a part of the Gimme team is so exciting. Our technology is so essential in today’s world because it’s accessible on multiple platforms, giving end users the ability to keep up with supply and demand with the touch of a button. We’ve completely transformed the “old days” of manual, time-consuming vending operations. I am proud of the impact I personally make on customers. When I hear someone say “Thank you, Jonathan, you have been a great help,” this makes me feel as though I’ve truly accomplished something. I then look forward to the next issue to solve. My ability to empathize with customers comes from my work in the healthcare industry where I learned that it was essential to put myself in clients’ shoes to best ease their frustrations. I’m an avid gamer in my spare time. Just another way to keep my mind sharp.
