Accountant (FCCA), JIEB (personal) qualified and financial consulting professional with 20 years+ of corporate restructuring, debt advisory and insolvency experience. I have considerable experience in assisting charities and specialise in employer covenant reviews for pension trustees and sponsoring employers.I undertake a variety of work to assist businesses and individuals that face financial problems. My aim is always to turn them around and consider all available options. Where turnaround is not possible and the issues are particularly severe, I assist in placing the company or individual into an insolvency process. Particular specialisms:DISTRESSED SALE AND FINANCIAL RESTRUCTURINGS - including sale of trading businesses (e.g. professional practice firms, care homes) both inside and outside of an insolvency process.NOT FOR PROFIT - Assisting Charities and Trustees on their financial options (e.g. social housing providers, care homes and child nurseries)PENSIONS - I have a specialism in undertaking covenant reviews for either the business or trustees of defined benefit/final salary pension schemes.CONTENTIOUS INSOLVENCY - I am experienced in undertaking forensic investigations to recover assets for creditors, in line with statute. This includes asset tracing and bringing claims under the Insolvency Act 1986 (as amended). I also work closely with the peer-to-peer sector including advising stressed/distressed borrowers to either turnaround or refinance their indebtedness, where possible.
