Jonathan is a recognized tech leader and serial entrepreneur whose career spans successful start-up ventures and senior operating roles in networking, IoT, cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI and AR/VR companies.Jonathan is CEO of CSignum, a provider of wireless underwater and underground IoT communications solutions leveraging electromagnetic fields. In addition to the role of CEO at CSignum, Jonathan also serves as the co-founder and Chairman of Arvizio, a provider of enterprise AI and AR/VR solutions delivering guided instruction, multi-user collaboration and digital twin experiences for Industry 4.0.Prior to Arvizio, Jonathan was Chairman and co-founder of CloudLink Technologies, a cloud security and storage company providing secure hybrid cloud solutions for AWS, Azure and VMware cloud infrastructure. CloudLink was acquired by EMC and today is part of Dell. Jonathan was founder and CEO of several networking companies including Sirocco Systems, an intelligent optical edge switching platform that was acquired by Sycamore Networks and Sahara Networks a multi-service edge platform acquired by Cascade Communications. Cascade was subsequently acquired by Ascend Communications where Jonathan served as VP of Strategic Planning. Preceding his entrepreneurial endeavors, Jonathan formed and led the ATM and switching business at General Datacomm where he also held senior engineering, product marketing and sales roles. Jonathan spear headed General Datacomm as an early leader in the ATM switching market serving enterprises and telecommunications operators across the globe. Jonathan has also served as an Operating Partner with Bessemer Venture Partners and on the Board of Trustees at Quinnipiac University. Jonathan spent a number of years in research and development leadership positions following his computer science and electronic engineering studies at Bournemouth College of Technology and University of Warwick.
