I work as a Data Scientist in Melbourne.I have worked in various ML fields including NLP, Predictive Modeling and Computer Vision.I have also been the recipient of an iAward, as well as a nominee for a CRN Impact Award, both of which were achieved for my work on various projects during my time as a Data Scientist Consultant.In one of my earlier roles, I worked on creating an Online Dispute Resolution product for a prominent Government client, wherein I explored the use of both bespoke neural networks as well as more esoteric ML algorithms to eventually achieve an innovative, effective solution for a novel application in the emerging interdisciplinary field of Legal Services and Technology.Lately, I have been working on solutions in the private health sector that involve open-source LLMs/GenAI.I am comfortable working in an end-to-end manner, by integrating models into IaaS/IaC services such as AWS and Azure.I am well-acquainted with common languages such as Python, R, C/C++, Java and SQL. I have got some experience working with the most commonly used deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow/Keras. I have also made some contributions to the codebases of a few commonly used ML-based Python Libraries, including Scikit-Image.In my spare time, I enjoy continuing to up-skill myself with the SOTA in my field and am trying to become proficient in Rust.
