I would describe myself as an experienced physical therapist with a wide range of treatment options. My practice is manually based and as such is very hands on in nature. I have a high level of proficiency in joint mobilization and manipulation, active muscle release techniques, Graston, IMS, kinesiotaping, myofascial cupping as well as advanced exercise prescription and training. I am able to prescribe diagnostic imaging and I have completed advanced training in concussion, vestibular and TMJ rehabilitation.My treatment philosophy is to use my varied skill set to treat the individual in the manner they are best suited to rather than to force my personal treatment preferences onto them. I have spent many years developing treatment options and I comfortable with all of the above approaches which allows me the flexibility to treat each client as an individual regardless of their particular diagnosis.I co-own the Lifemark Physiotherapy Aspen clinic in SW Calgary. I also own and operate a home based clinic under the business name of 360 Physiotherapy & Training Inc. The SMARTPT business is focused on providing manual therapy training to physiotherapists interested in developing / strengthening there assessment and treatment skills. SMARTPT offers courses addressing spinal and extremity rehabilitation which can be viewed at SMARTPT.ca I am confident and extremely competent in my somewhat unique skillset which has afforded me the opportunity to work with a variety of national team athletes as well as international athletes. I had the opportunity to work with the Canadian national bobsleigh and skeleton program and had the good fortune to be part of the Vancouver 2010 and 2014 Sochi Olympic experience with this group. I have also worked with Luge and Alpine Canada as well as independent snowboarding, CFL and speed skating athletes.
