In charge of approximately 40 personnel across 4 work centers. Oversaw all maintenance and personnel associated with Damage Control/fire fighting systems to include HALON, AFFF, FIRE MAIN, and portable firefighting equipment. -Applied tactical acumen to effectively combat 20+ live casualties to include fire, flooding, and toxic gas casualties during maintenance availability. Assumed executive responsibility and decision-making for 100 people in the absence of the Chief Engineer.Achievements:-Liasioned, directed, and collaborated with a team spanning six departments, over 20 divisions and 40 work centers daily during the major cyclic material inspection completed by ships. Synchronized planning of Damage Control Material Assessment encompassing 100 material checks in Damage Control. My oversight resulted in a 23-year old ship passing Damage Control Material Assessment after the longest ship yard availability in the history of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.-Reported directly to the Commanding Officer for the Damage Control program for 300+ personnel, scheduled and assigned Damage Control schools and ensured 200+ unique drills were executed in support of training objectives.

Analyzed and complied annual diversity data encompassing the entire Atlantic and Pacific Navy Fleet and enhanced recruitment efforts for the Navy Surface Force for the San Diego Fleet Concentration Area. -Planned and coordinated the semi-annual Strategic workforce Council with the Chief of Naval Operations and Vice Chief of Naval Operations. Briefed Senior Executive personnel on the Fleet-wide impact of Commander Naval Surface Force Pacific Diversity and Inclusion program.-Established and organized the annual Commander Naval Surface Pacific Women's Symposium attended by over 500 personnel. Scheduled 34 ship tours in support of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp.

Led a division of 18 highly experienced Information Systems Technicians in the maintenance and operation of the ship's local area network, microcomputer systems, and telecommunications systems. -Supervised, planned, and corrected technical deficiencies during the installation of Navy Multiband Terminal satellite communications system, equipment paramount to the ship's external communications. -Planned, executed, passed over 200 hours of department audits and combat systems inspections on equipment valued at over 40 million dollars ensuring vital ships equipment operability.
