In the role of lead animator at Staging Solutions, Inc., I work with our creative directors to develop the visual look and feel of large animation projects, plus I tackle some of the more technically challenging sections of those projects during production. I also help coordinate our animation team and delegate tasks on certain projects. Some of the daily to-dos of my position include tasks such as creating conceptual stills, animation fly-throughs, and virtual reality experiences to better visualize events and media for clients; coding and real-time graphics developing; and solving technical challenges for the design and media teams (i.e., looking for efficient solutions for slower, more challenging tasks). In between major projects, I spend time learning and developing new ideas and technologies for experimental projects in the future. I’ll sometimes even create showcase demonstrations to best illustrate certain technologies for clients.
