Work Highlights:Received Promotion from Engineer I to Engineer IIWorked as a Resident Engineer for BL-001 & BL-002. These projects included the installation of approx. 4,200 LF of 16-inch Ductile Iron on Griener Rd. in (T)Clarence, and the installation of approx. 2,100 LF of 12-inch and 14,700 LF of 8-inch Ductile Iron watermain in (T)Amherst, respectively. As a Resident Engineer, I led pre-construction meetings, reviewed construction materials in conformance with approved submittals, tracked quantities through construction, and reviewed general conformance of construction activities with Contract Drawings and Specifications. I also worked with the Contractors to develop a testing and disinfection plan for sections of newly installed watermain. I was also responsible for documenting as-built or completed construction drawings, and record forms. Worked as a project Engineer for a water system improvements project in the Village of South Dayton, Cattaraugus County, NY. As an Engineer II I was responsible for preparing Contract Documents and Specifications. Designing watermain improvements, including restraint length, thrust block sizing, and connection details. Watermain design sought to incorporate watermains in sections of the Village via looping. Calculated Engineers' Estimate for watermain design. Project also involved the rehabilitation of an existing Westech Aeralater unit. Rehabilitation included the replacement of existing filtration media with Greensand material, to mitigate elevated levels of Iron and Manganese, and an application of an epoxy coating to the interior and exterior of the tank for corrosion protection. This project also involved developing a new potable water groundwater well, and the rehabilitation of two existing potable groundwater wells. During this project I working with the Aeralater manufacturer, multiple coating manufacturers, and pump sales reps to specify appropriate materials to meet the project demand.

Work Highlights:Worked as a Resident Engineer for the Erie County Water Authority Ball Pump Station North Tank Replacement project. Responsible for daily inspection reports, submittal review, bi-weekly progress reports, bi-weekly progress meeting agendas and meeting minutes, also led some progress meetings. Tracked time and material for change orders, maintained quality control during concrete pour operations and during pipe installation, and recorded and sketched as-built information. I also worked with the site and tank contractors to develop a testing and disinfection plan for the 4.2 MG concrete storage tank and for newly installed 48-inch and 54-inch ductile iron site piping. This project also involved communicating with manufacturers and suppliers, including Thompson Pipe group and Pratt/Mueller representatives, to address questions and issues during construction. Worked with senior Engineers to design and draft waterline replacements in multiple Towns and Villages including: (T) Grand Island, (T) Newstead, (T) Cambria, (V) Holley. Project responsibilities included drafting, plan review, engineers' estimate, and assembling technical specifications. Designed and drafted approx. 500 gpm pump station improvement and forcemain extension in the (V) Medina business district. Also worked on specifications and engineers' estimate.

Worked with senior engineers to design and draft medium to small sized water distribution and wastewater treatment projects.
