When I was 10, I had my epiphany moment. I noticed many of my classmates and neighbors were living on welfare of one form or another. At that point I was determined that I would never ask for a handout, that I put work above all things with the exception of my education. While I do not have a wall full of degrees, I did my best to educate myself in a variety of subjects. In my years, I have experienced a wide array of jobs. I never let myself think that any job was beneath me which allowed me to have a wide range of experiences. In 2009, my health took a turn for the worse and for the first time in my life I found myself unable to work. However, I refused to allow that to completely stop me. While I was trying to get my health issues under control, I enrolled into an online university where I studied Project Management. After two years of study, I realized that it was not a career path I really wanted to pursue. I sat back and thought about it a while, and decided to start my Blog, and within a few months I decided to go to school for Broadcasting. When I entered school, I was only focused on doing talk radio, with the goal of hosting my own talk show, which I am now doing as a podcast, with my Co-Host Ira Potter, which you can find posted at our site www.alifeofthoughts.com. After taking the classes in video production, I discovered that I really did enjoy doing it, and my instructors said that I appeared to have a talent for it, so, I am now expanding my skills in that area.
