I currently run a nine person department where I wear many hats. My main role is a Team Leader! I give nightly machine assignments to all eight of my team members (six Poly Operator’s one Robotic Operator and my Setup Operator) based on production schedule and priority. When problems arise the operators look to me or my set up to resolve those issues. The biggest thing I strive for is Safety. Also, being proactive and minimizing indirect time on all ten machines in my department.Other jobs I perform on a nightly basis are Process Technician, Mold Setter, Tooling, minor maintenance repairs, Material Handler and Quality control.
