I have most recently worked as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, doing fundraising and membership recruitment for an organization that has long been a force for community service and character development amongst our country's youth. I grew up in this program, and spent seven summers of my life working at my local Scout summer camp, serving in senior leadership roles for a program that brought in 200 new youth every week. I served with the City Year program as an Americorps member through the 2019 school year at Rosa Parks K-8 at Sac City Unified, and am currently serving on the Ethics Committee for Mercy San Juan Hospital with Dignity Health as a Community member, helping the hospital staff make critical care decisions for challenging cases regarding end-of-life care. Ultimately, whether I work in healthcare, education, or nonprofits, I am resolved to connect with and bolster the communities I serve.
