Foreign policy expert, both on strategic planing and policy implementation levels, with the ability to foster personal relationships with colleagues and teammates. No stranger to deadlines and working under pressure acquired during 15 years of service on diplomatic missions and managerial posts in the Israeli MFA. My years as my ministry’s Deputy-Spokesperson sharpened my proficiency in communication, including social network messaging, identifying the target audience and how to reach out to it in an age where diplomacy requires maximum flexibility and on the spot decisions. Since early age, though statistically the chances were 1:2000, I aspired to become a diplomat building on great interest in history and cultures. It was a great personal achievement to joint the MFA and an wonderful emotional moment when I was posted in Romania, the country from which my grand-parents and parents immigrated to Israel. Working in Brussels vis-a-vis the EU and, specifically the EU parliament, was a great opportunity to gain experience in the dynamics of a multilateral organization. My current post as Director for Palestinian Affairs also entails the delicate P2P work of building bridges and trust necessary for the creation of a better future. Looking back at my university years, I combined the study of two of my favorite subjects- International Relations and English Literature. My MA degree at the Excellence Program for Public Policy at the Hebrew University focused on decision making process, specifically in the Health sector. When I want to relax I turn to one of my top three hobbies: film & cinema, soccer and reading mystery novels. However, my greatest achievement to date is my lovely family, wife, two daughters and son, that fill my life with endless happiness.
