I am driven by the excitement and evolving nature of construction, establishing and maintaining quality relationships, providing genuine leadership, developing people and facilitating personal growth while identifying process efficiencies in fast paced project environments. I'm always seeking improvement and development for myself and my teams and in 2022 I was really pleased to receive the AIB NSW Building Professional of the Year award.I've been with Hansen Yuncken since early 2010, and worked with a couple of other constructions companies prior. After more than 20 years in construction I am passionate about the industry and have developed a wide range of leadership and managerial skills. I've been fortunate to have enjoyed a broad range of project experience, crossing a number of sectors and contract structures with a focus on D+C and construction workplaces within operational facilities. All aspects of WHS and Risk Management are my primary focus on any project. I always strive to bring an up-front, disciplined and pragmatic approach to problem solving and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with all project stakeholders. My leadership style, passion and effective communication focus on honesty and candour.Away from work you'll find me enjoying outdoor family life with my wonderful wife and kids, sharing community at church and having the occasional run. I look forward to opportunities that enable my interest in community service/social welfare and my developed skills and abilities to align more closely.
