The network was made up of an extensive national retail estate comprised of over 4000 locations, in addition to an international network of branch offices with over 30 sites with various network topologies vendors and circuits providers.Recruited as a Network Operations Analyst for Ladbrokes Coral, I worked a 1 in 4 weekly on-call rotation in addition to my contracted BAU hours. While on call I was responsible for providing 24/7 network support for escalated incidents. I provided technical expertise for data centre and corporate network projects, deployments and refreshes.Day-to-day, I was involved in the design and deployment of network infrastructure to data centres, corporate networks and retail estates working with Juniper Cisco Fortinet. I worked with a number of stakeholders to support the Cloud Repatriation of various applications back to an on-premises environment. Designed and deployed a new management network within a core data centre, Worked with SOC on certificate renewals across multiple F5’s in multiple datacenters.
