As a Task Force Officer at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), I support the FBI's mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution by collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies to investigate, prevent, and disrupt terrorist activities and threats. With my Master of Science in Counterterrorism and my ongoing studies in National Security Policy, I bring a strong academic background and a deep understanding of the global and domestic security challenges and trends.I am also a Police Sergeant at the Connecticut State Capitol Police Department, where I have demonstrated my leadership and dedication for 19 years. I lead and train a team of officers who are responsible for the security and safety of the state capitol complex, the governor, the legislature, and the public. I have successfully handled high-stress situations, emotionally disturbed individuals, and community relations with integrity, professionalism, and unbiasedness. I am passionate about mentoring officers and developing their leadership potential, as evidenced by my multiple leadership and development certificates and my active listening and conflict management skills.
