Procurement Manager - Southern Construction business of Laing O’Rourke Construction Limited. Responsible for scope preparation of packages with use of marked drawings, Pricing documents and Bills of quantities.This role involved purchasing of subcontract packages and materials and the drafting and issuing of subcontracts documents and orders on the Cranfields Mill residential project in Ipswich (circa £40m).This role also involved bidding and procuring a hospital refurbishment project under the P21 procurement method at Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury (circa £6m).One aspect of the role was to participate in an audit review team to implement an audit processes within the procurement department.Another role I was involved in was bidding a series of Provisional Sum packages for a Commercial office project in Paddington, London (circa £90m). This role involved liaison with the Employers Team to gain instructions to proceed

Supply Chain Manager - Northern Home CountiesDefining the strategic supply chain for key business areas such as the “Suffolk Framework Contract”. Circa £50m spend. Implement a business wide strategic M & E trading agreement and regularly monitor the use and performance through the supply chain. Assessing and reviewing vendor performance through an in-house data management system. Advising estimating and commercial departments on suitability of vendors with KPI’s including compliance with corporate policy, health and safety, quality, pricing, collaboration and risk profiling. Key achievements included a business wide portfolio analysis for key materials resulting in detailed actionable reports to the Procurement Director and ultimately launched throughout the business. Project Procurement Manager – Wates Construction Limited - Northern Home Counties.Purchasing of subcontract packages and materials to agreed budget targets on the Clacton on Sea PFI scheme which involved refurbishment and new-build contracts to a value of £35m.Successfully complete the 2nd stage tender of a pharmaceutical distribution centre in Southend on Sea (circa £10m). This role involved all parts of the bid assessment process including weekly liaison with the Employers PQS. Key achievements included the procurement delivery of the awarded 2nd stage tender, to key profit targets.
