I'm a Master in Computer Science with Machine Learning specialization from Georgia Tech, with a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering, and some Mechanical Engineering background. I have several years of deliverable experience with C/C++ and Python solutions, and experience binding code between them to enable seamless integration between low level drivers and high level machine learning tasks for robotic systems development. I also have experience utilizing the ROS/ROS2 framework for rapid concept prototyping, robotic perception systems development and integration, and docker for software stack deployment on embedded and non-embedded hardware. I've worked on several projects where my tasks involved the fusion of state of the art ML and deep learning research for automatic target recognition and object localization solutions in the commercial, industrial, and defense spaces. This work has involved both integrating existing open source code as well as writing from-scratch deep neural network models with the Pytorch framework, and writing behavior nodes with the BehaviorTreeCPP framework to facilitate integration into higher level mission planning. I've also worked on projects where my tasks involve integrating low level tools and drives through industrial protocols (Profinet/Profibus/EtherCAT) with a variety of DDS middleware implementations (fastrtps, cyclonedds, RTI) layers facilitated by the ROS2 framework. I've also had a fascination with physics since I was a younger lad (general relativity/dynamics) and am currently reading Roger Penrose's Spinors and Spacetime and Mendel Sachs' General Relativity and Matter.
