I am the advertising manager for the Rancho Cordova's Grapevine Independent Newspaper. I Implement and manage the company's advertising strategy from a business, sales, and technical perspective, Initiate and manage discussions and sales with sponsors and agencies, negotiate agreements with outside sales representatives, and manage the development of sales materials including media kits. Previously I served 4 years in the United States Army as a military police officer. I was stationed in Fort Lewis, WA where I served a community of over 100,000 soldiers, family members, and other DoD employees. I deployed to Iraq in June of 2008 where I was held responsible for the security of the "International Zone". Including escorting supply convoys, and working as a quick reaction force to any attacks within the green zone. I was then stationed in Baumholder, Germany where I worked with not only the local Army community, but the German citizens that lived just outside our gates.
