As a student at IU in the Kelley School of Business studying Finance, Accounting, & Business Analytics, I strive to better myself and those around me. My experiences have been shaped by my roles as a selfless leader, passionate member, and dedicated player.Selfless leader: During Covid after finding plenty of books in my home, I realized that I could help families in need by organizing a book sale fundraiser. I partnered with Culvers and raised $300+ to help families afford food. Passionate member: In search of a community, I joined Tau Epsilon Phi—a fraternal organization. At first, I was unsure if I wanted to join the fraternity due to the big commitment; but I ended up joining, and my passion for my new community grew. So, I decided to take a position of leadership to help better my community.Dedicated player: After making the Freshman C team, I was upset. I had always dreamt of playing Varsity basketball; however, no C team player has ever made Varsity. I spent all summer in the gym, and finally senior year I made the Varsity team.In the future, I’d love to work for a company dedicated to making a change, and I'll bring my experiences to help the company reach its goals.
