About Jonathan Schoenfeld, P.E.

Over 20 years ago I chose to pursue a career in renewable energy and energy efficiency. That singular focus led me to a position supporting the Department of Energy’s Office of Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency followed by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. It was also what brought me to the SF bay area where I worked for kW Engineering for seven fantastic years. While my education in mechanical engineering and advanced cooling technologies has served me well throughout my career, my focus has gradually transitioned to building automation and control systems. I am very excited to enter this next phase of my career developing building automation software solutions at Buildings IOT.
