Intelligent Infrastructure (II) is a five-year data transformation programme that will drive a better performing and safer railway for passengers and freight customers.The programme was launched with a clear objective: to shift Network Rail to proactive predict and prevent maintenance and management regimes of Britain's railway infrastructure. Launched in 2019, the programme will provide engineers with the information and data they need to make informed, predictive and safe decisions on where and when railway assets need fixing before a fault occurs.This will be achieved through new decisions support tools for track, signalling and other key assets, alongside fixed and on-train condition monitoring systems and aerial surveys of the entire network.

Responsibilities include: - Internal and external media - press releases and articles - Training material - on-line, video, printed material - National campaigns to promote and embed new ways of working - All award copy - eight national industry awards won to date - Advising projects on communication strategies

Designed and lead the communications and engagement strategy to launch the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE). Network Rail's Southern region is transforming how railway renewals are delivered across the railway for the next 10 years. Based on the Institution of Civil Engineers Project 13 principles the SRE is a new collaboration between NR and four key suppliers VolkerRail, AtkinsRealis, Octavius and VolkerFitzpatrick to drive efficiency, innovation and a better performing railway.
