Programme Communications Manager Intelligent Infrastructure Programme
CurrentIntelligent Infrastructure (II) is a five-year data transformation programme that will drive a better performing and safer railway for passengers and freight customers. The programme was launched with a clear objective: to shift Network Rail to proactive predict and prevent maintenance and management regimes of Britain's railway infrastructure. Launched in 2019, the programme will provide engineers with the information and data they need to make informed, predictive and safe decisions on where and when railway assets need fixing before a fault occurs. This will be achieved through new decisions support tools for track, signalling and other key assets, alongside fixed and on-train condition monitoring systems and aerial surveys of the entire network.
