As the Production and Maintenance Coordinator I serve to coordinate corrective, preventative, investigative, and project work... balancing operations needs and maintenance department resource loading. The PMC role manages numerous onsite contractors spanning across those for repair and upkeep of the production, utility, and power generation assets on site, to those who make repairs on and maintain the Coke Oven batteries (SunCoke's primary source of revenue). The PMC's main purpose is to "mediate & regulate" the needs of operations and maintenance to ensure a successful production of our product with limited downtime, spend, and occurrences of safety or environmental issues.

-Site Lead Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, composing and coordinating hour by hour maintenance for upcoming shift work for our nested contractors (Fluor Corporation.) This includes planning of Corrective Maintenance jobs, creating Preventative Maintenance tasks, procurement of material for maintenance of assets located on site. -SunCoke utilizes the IBM CMMS software MAXIMO for all work order and purchase order processing, which I am highly skilled and qualified on. I am the site Outage Coordinator for maintenance on 5 Heat Recovery Steam Generator units, one Flue Gas Desulfurization unit, and maintenance tasks on our 67 MW Shin-Nippon Steam Turbine. Tasks include: outage scope definition, close project execution, budget analysis and contractual agreement negotiations with vendors, as well as job writing, planning, procurement of materials, supervision of final stage job execution. Additionally, I maintain continuity and perform reviews of QA/QC protocols for repairs to maintain ASME, NFPA 70E, OSHA and various other Boiler, electrical and safety oriented standards within code. -Served as a member of the SunCoke Way Asset-care team (TRACC continuous Improvement Process) striving to improve the processes and reliability of equipment at SunCoke Middletown Operations. Suncoke Energy also utilized multiple failure analysis systems that I am involved with including RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis) to better understand and reduce downtime for our production process. -I routinely cover additional roles as the Maintenance Manager, MTC Scheduler, Production Maintenance Coordinator (Contract Coordinator) and nested contractor Field Maintenance Supervisor when the need arises... I am flexible to perform all tasks as requested.

-Team leader (Front Line leadership) of SunCoke Energy's Heat Recovery, steam and electrical power generation plant, and the continuous emissions monitoring system. I directed and coordinated activities of all crew members during a shift (Auxiliary Operators and Boiler/ Turbine operators). Monitored and directed work activities within the Heat Recovery Team, ensuring work was performed in a safe and efficient manner and that areas of responsibility are maintained in a neat and orderly condition. This included man in charge duties on shift work acting as Production Maintenance Coordinator for any emergent maintenance. -I planned production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for shift activities within Heat Recovery Area. Coordinated production activities with other departments (Production and Utility) and personnel as necessary to maximize operations in a safe and environmentally compliant manner, within budget and according to customer needs.-One of four initial plant startup supervisors for the Heat Recovery unit at SunCoke Energy in 2011.

-Served my country as a Navy Nuclear Qualified Machinist Mate First class, with 6 years of team leadership and responsibility in operating and maintaining the USS Enterprise's #3 Main Machinery Room Main Engine and Auxiliary Equipment. -Qualified Senior In Rate Chief Machinery Operator with extensive knowledge of reactor plant, steam plant, electrical generation and auxiliary equipment on the ship in charge of supervising Navy Sailors operating in my engine room. During the last few years of my tour, I acted as the Machinery Divisions lead Planner for engine room corrective maintenance as a qualified Surface Fleet Nuclear Maintenance Planner. Deployed to the Middle East operating Zone for two 6-7 Month Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
