With over 30 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry, I am a passionate and creative Head of Events at Wilderness Reserve, a stunning collection of manors, farmhouses, and cottages set within an 8000-acre private estate in Suffolk. My core competencies include event strategy, planning, execution, budgeting, marketing, and evaluation, as well as staff management, client relations, and venue operations. I have a keen eye for detail, a flair for design, and a commitment to excellence. Previously, I was the Head of Events and Event Development Manager at Wherstead Park, where I managed the day-to-day running of the events and hospitality department, overseeing an annual budget of over £650k and delivering high-quality events for a diverse range of clients and sectors. I have also worked with prestigious brands, venues, and personalities in the UK and EU, such as Armani, Sothebys, Mercedes Benz, Tom Ford, Ian Schrager Hotels, Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver, among others, creating memorable and impactful experiences that met and exceeded expectations.
