During my career as a Marine, often held positions that were normally reserved for more senior Marines. Duties held were safety and hazmat coordinator, squad leader and scout commander. The scout commander’s responsibility involved taking on the principal safety of the convoys’ movement. Each convoy had over 100 personnel and well over 20 million dollars in equipment and supplies. My last tour of duty was the Truck Master for Crash Fire Rescue. As the Truck Master my responsibilities were to manage, supervise and train 14 personnel in the quality of the production efforts. Also to preform quality control inspections to ensure the emergency response vehicles followed the strict regulations to operate on an airfield. Provided vehicle instruction compliances, maintenance practices, workmanship and documentations to support of 16 emergency response vehicles and over $200,000 in equipment assets.
