I am an experienced control room/outside operator with over 15 years’ in the oil and gas and petro chemical industries. I gained mechanical experience with Sabic before transitioning into operations. From there i advanced to working as a Senior DCS Console Operator on the commissioning and start up of a chemical plant in Saudi Arabia. I then repatriated to the Uk and began working in the North Sea on an oil and gas platform as a senior operations technician. Due to the nature of my background, I am highly flexible and comfortable working away from home for long periods of time. I repatriated to the UK in 2019 and to work offshore in the North Sea on the Judy platform.I have developed and refined a range of comprehensive abilities working in a multi-skilled function. I enjoy working as part of team and in my previous role was given the responsibility of training others to ensure safe working practices and proficiency within the job role. This included plant operations as well as DCS control. I have monitored unit operating conditions to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance and contributed to process improvements to sustain production rates. With a range of technical skills, including working with DCS and other supporting systems, such as compressor control and advanced control systems. My accumulative experience, combined with my proven track record to go the extra mile, has seen quality delivery, often exceeding expectations. I am a confident communicator and show great commitment to my work. I pride myself on my approachable nature and friendly character which translates into my personal interests. I maintain an interest in football and in 2010, I helped managed a local team, organising events, holding meetings and leading fundraising activities.
